A wide variety of experiences are provided for all toddlers to help encourage their continuing development, with the emphasis on learning through play. Varied techniques are utilized and the complexity of activities is gradually increased with the development of your child. Our children actively participate in activities designed to help them develop both physically and mentally. We aim to enhance the continued development of their motor skills, through experimentation with different materials and textures, promote literacy through reading and storytelling and help develop language skills through conversing. Self-dependence is also developed through encouragement and praise to achieve independence in eating, dressing and personal hygiene. In a similar manner, cooperation with peers and learning social rules and sharing are also praised, hence building children’s self-esteem. Our children’s day is carefully arranged to encourage development of new skills and confidence, whilst also taking into account, the children at this age have relatively short attention spans. More structured activities are slowly and gradually introduced into children’s routines, catering to their rapidly growing needs.
